Through out this first month of the project, participating schools should work on learning information about their own National Anthems. Including listening to performances of other singers, the history of the song's creation (who, what, when, where, why, and how), and the meaning behind the words of the song.

-
The majority of this portion of the project will be done at the individual schools as they prepare for a Mystery Skype to find out what school they will be working with. Classes should incorporate facts about your anthem into your Mystery Skype questions and answers, and use that as a basis to help narrow down which country your new classmates might be from.

-
Teachers should be working together to set up the Mystery Skype's between the two classes and problem solve any issues like time zones, language barriers, etc that might slow down the process. If the issues become to great then teachers should problem solve solutions to have their classes still communicate, even if it's not face to face.
