4th or 5th Graders, Upper Elementary, or Students ages 9-11

Number of Participants:
At least 2 classes, each from a different country.
Special Characteristics:
Participating schools should have a music teacher helping students learn the country Anthem and to complete this project.

Any Country in the world can participate

Activity Dates:
February:

Activity: Begin learning Country's National Anthem, the song's history, meaning, etc.
March:

Activity: Begin problem solving ways to share the history of your country's anthem with other countries (remembering language barriers, and other possible barriers)
April-May:

Activity: Begin creating videos of class performance of National Anthem and choose one that has the best quality. Add to the video the information on the Anthem's history, creation, meaning, etc.
